I am super proud of my Queen Ramonda Cosplay! Everything from the fabric to the topical elements were all made from scratch. The fabric is a custom woven jacquard with the pattern hand drawn by myself in photohop and illustrator. I then sent it over to a company to get it woven. Selecting the right combination of threads to get the color depth and perception i wanted took a couple tries but we got there!
I then meticulously hand embroidered every detail on approximately 7 yards of this fabric with metallic thread. Anyone who has ever worked with Metallic thread knows it is a demon lolol I used over 200 plus skeins and there are approximately 2500 hand embroidered petals in total. Which means there are 2500 glass beads also hand sewn on the body of the dress.I was doing hand embroidery for 12 hrs EVERY DAY for 3.5 months  because each cluster of flowers takes 2hrs. It is also fully lined with both velvet and sateen so it weighs around 7 or 8 lbsThe bodice bib is also hand sewn using a combination of over 1000 Swarovski beads, gems and crystalsThe gold bits are machine embroidered using art all hand drawn and created by me! With some goldwork and beading on top of these pieces to add more depth.I also did some 3d modeling for the very first time! With guidance from @hokuprops for the crown! I used the base file from @thedangerousladies but heavily modified it by adding more details to upgrade it to the Wakanda Forever version and also changing the shape.Thank you to everyone who supported me while I made this, I am incredibly proud of this build and hope to do more intricate dresses in futureInspired by the work done by @therealruthecarter and her team.
